The Road So Far
Hello there.
In 2017 I was unhappy with my factory job so I started looking for alternatives. During my search I decided what I wanted most was to work for myself and create something I could be proud of. After about 2 years of planning and saving, in November of 2019, I quite my job and started Mike's Quality Woodwork (in 2023 turned into Weldon's Workshop) in pursuance of my dream. I started off making custom furniture but soon found myself making videogame props for comic con venders. As of 2023 I have to workers and hope to expand in 2025. I have a new dedication to put American pride back into the market by making our product as American made as possible. Buildong and growing a business has been tough and there are struggles/obstacles that I didn't foresee but the freedom I gained "is greater than all the magic and all the treasures in all the world."
All of our products will be marked "assembled in America", "made in America", or "100% American made".
Assembled in America means the final product was assembled/built/made by American hands with a combination of foreign and domestic material with the amount of domestic material being below 75%.
Made in America means the final product was assembled/built/made by American hands with at least 75% of domestic material.
100% American made means the final product was assembled/built/made by American hands with 100% of domestic material.
